When The
Sun Sets Deep
When the sun sets deep
within the sky,
At the closing of the
day,
And darkness covers the earth,
With
the clouds that are sent our way.
It's
time to pause for a moment or two,
Give
thanks to which it belongs,
It's time to let
your mind reflect back,
And give praise in
prayer and song.
God has given us so much
beauty,
As far as the eye can see,
Like
the flowers that burst with color,
And
butterflies dancing with glee.
The
raindrops water our grass so green,
And the
sparrows sing with delight,
And the beautiful
stars that shine at night,
Are a very awesome
sight.
So take a moment, maybe two,
To
say a thank you prayer,
For every blessing
given by God
There's nothing that can
compare.
