May I ever be a
reflection of You,
And shine as a light on a hill.
You say I'm the light of the world,
So I have much to fulfill.
My light and reflection of You,
Must begin in my home here on earth,
Or it won't be effective for other's,
And it's value will be of little worth.
Then I may go out before men,
And all will see my good works in You.
That I may glorify You, my Father
As the lost world I pursue.
May my light shine so brightly,
That I bring You into view.
The lost will see the Love in my heart,
That's a Perfect Reflection of You.
Your Light is ever before me,
It's chased the darkness away.
In me is the Light of Life.
Your Reflection I am to portray.
