Now And Then
Now and then I think back in time,
Remember days of long ago.
You always seem to come to mind,
And my heart feels such a glow.
I wonder how your life is now,
And hope that it's been good.
I'd like to think that you've been blessed,
By our Father as you should.
Oh! the fun times that we once had,
Spending time together.
Each day was like a breath of spring,
We had it altogether.
I think of all our walks and talks,
And the heartfelt thoughts we shared.
Just being together brought such joy,
I knew for me you cared.
The place I saved within my heart;
Is still there for you.
There forever will it remain,
In whatever I may do.
I hope now and then you think of me,
Wherever you may be;
Have kept that place within your heart,
You promised to save for me.
So teach us to number our
days, that we may apply
our hearts unto wisdom.
